Sigma coatings has 280 years experience in the development and production of coatings, the original company Pieter Schoen was founded in 1722 in Holland.

In 1998 Sigmakalon invested to build in China a dedicated, high tech, production facility, marine and protective coatings under the SigmaCoatings brand name.  This facility in Kunshan, 50km North West of Shanghai, is a wholly owned foreign enterprise, with a rated capacity of 25,000 tones, and is ISO9001 approved.

Sigma Coatings have over 200 highly trained research specialists.  Our research centers are located in the Netherlands, France, Belgium, USA and China, our recently established R&D centre in Kunshan, China, enables support specifically for the market demands of the Asia region.
